This trick is a lot easier to pull off after finding the P.C.S.I. Once again, fire all the proximity mines you can, then head back into the workbench and slot another node into capacity. By pressing SQUARE / X while in the rifle's node tree, you'll be able to reset all current node progress for 5,000 credits, restoring your rifle to its original form. Take them to the workbench and click on the Pulse Rifle menu. When you're ready, you'll want to grab your Pulse Rifle and as many nodes as possible. The Medical Tram Stop is a brilliant spot to use while attempting this trick, as enemies likely won't spawn nearby, there's a store accessible by the stop and a workbench just through the east exit. You'll also want to find an area where enemies won't spawn so that the game's random encounters won't activate while you're gathering ammo. You'll be able to exploit this glitch after discovering the Pulse Rifle in Chapter 2, although it's best to wait until you find a store and workbench positioned close together to make the best use of it. You'll have access to all of these after completing Chapter 2 's opening. This glitch requires you to have the Pulse Rifle, a healthy amount of nodes ( preferably 5 or more), 5,000 Credits and access to both a store and a workbench.
